Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor-General may make regulations prescribing matters:
(a) required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed; or
(b) necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.
(2) In particular, regulations may be made in relation to matters of a transitional or saving nature arising out of the sale of the Commonwealth's shares in the Commonwealth Bank, or otherwise arising out of the enactment of this Act.
(3) Subsection 12(2) of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003 does not apply to regulations that are made under this section and take effect at or after the transfer time.
