Commonwealth Consolidated ActsWHEREAS the International Labour Organisation Act 1947 approved the
amended Constitution of the International Labour Organisation as set out in the
Schedule to that Act:
AND WHEREAS certain amendments of the Constitution of the International Labour
Organisation that were adopted by the General Conference of the Organisation on
25th June, 1953, and 22nd June, 1962, have taken effect in accordance with
Article 36 of that Constitution and it is expedient that the amended
Constitution, as further amended by those instruments of amendment, should be
approved by the Parliament:
AND WHEREAS certain other amendments of the Constitution of the International
Labour Organisation that were adopted by the General Conference of that
Organisation on 6th July, 1964, 9th July, 1964, and 22nd June, 1972, will take
effect if ratified or accepted by Members of the Organisation in accordance
with Article 36 of that Constitution and it is expedient that the ratification
by Australia of those amendments should be approved by the Parliament:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Queen, the Senate and the House of
Representatives of Australia, as follows:
