LIFE INSURANCE ACT 1995 - SECT 183

Notification to APRA regarding applications by liquidator

             (1)  Before making an application to the Court in relation to a matter arising under the winding-up of a life company, a liquidator must give APRA written notice that the liquidator proposes to make the application.

             (2)  The notice must include details of the proposed application.

             (3)  APRA is entitled to be heard on the application.
