NAVIGATION ACT 1912 - SECT 399

Distress and sale of ships

                   In all cases in which any Court directs payment of any sum of money by any party, being the master or owner of a ship, and that party does not pay it in accordance with the order, the Court making the order may, in addition to any other of its powers, direct the amount or the portion thereof remaining unpaid to be levied by distress and sale of the whole or any portion of the ship and its equipment, and they shall be sold accordingly.
