(a)     The National Transmission Network Sale Act 1998 was amended by Schedule 1 (item 675) only of the Public Employment (Consequential and Transitional) Amendment Act 1999, subsections 2(1) and (2) of which provide as follows:

                 (1)   In this Act, commencing time means the time when the Public Service Act 1999 commences.

                 (2)   Subject to this section, this Act commences at the commencing time.

(b)     Subsection 2(1) (item 5) of the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Competition and Consumer Safeguards) Act 2010 provides as follows:

                 (1)   Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

The later of:

(a) the start of the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and
