PARLIAMENTARY CONTRIBUTORY SUPERANNUATION ACT 1948 - SECT 24

Benefits not assignable

             (1)  Retiring allowances, annuities and other benefits under this Act shall be absolutely inalienable, whether by way of, or in consequence of, sale, assignment, charge, execution, bankruptcy, or otherwise howsoever.

             (2)  Notwithstanding anything contained in subsection (1), the Trust may deduct from a retiring allowance, annuity or other benefit payable to any person under this Act any amount previously overpaid or paid in error to that person as retiring allowance, annuity or other benefit under this Act.
