TORRES STRAIT FISHERIES ACT 1984 - SECT 42AB

             (1)  A person commits an offence if:

                     (a)  the person has been issued with an identity card under section 42AA; and

                     (b)  the person ceases to be an officer; and

                     (c)  the person does not, as soon as is practicable after so ceasing, return the identity card to the Minister.

Penalty:  2 penalty units.

             (2)  An offence under subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
