Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated ActsIf, on the trial of a person for an offence against this division, the jury is not satisfied that the person is guilty of that offence but is satisfied that the person is guilty of another offence against this division carrying a lesser penalty than the offence charged, the jury may acquit the person of the offence charged and find him or her guilty of that other offence.
