CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 53

    (1)     This section applies if the official visitor —

        (a)     receives a complaint about a detention place, therapeutic protection place or place of care; and

        (b)     is satisfied that the complainant—

              (i)     has left the detention place, therapeutic protection place or place of care; and

              (ii)     cannot be found after reasonable enquiry.

    (2)     The official visitor must close the complaint.
