LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 225

    (1)     An acting appointment, or anything done under an acting appointment, is not invalid only because of a defect or irregularity in or in relation to the appointment.

    (2)     Anything done by or in relation to the appointee while the appointee purports to act in the position is not invalid only because—

        (a)     the occasion for the appointment had not arisen or had ended; or

        (b)     the appointment had ended; or

        (c)     the occasion for the appointee to act had not arisen or had ended.
