Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) If satisfied that a licensee has failed to comply with a condition of the licence, the Minister may, by notice in writing served on the licensee, require the licensee, within 28 days after the date of the notice, to show cause why the licence should not be cancelled.
(2) The Minister may, after the expiration of 28 days after the date of the notice, cancel the licence.
(3) The cancellation of a licence under this section takes effect on the day after the day on which the notice under section 137 (1) is given to the licensee or on such later day as may be specified in that notice.
