ROYAL COMMISSIONS ACT 1991 - SECT 5

    (1)     The Executive may appoint 1 or more people as a royal commission to inquire into a matter stated in the instrument of appointment.

Note     For the making of appointments, see the Legislation Act, pt 19.3.

    (2)     An appointment is a notifiable instrument.

Note     A notifiable instrument must be notified under the Legislation Act .
