ROAD TRANSPORT (THIRD-PARTY INSURANCE) ACT 2008 - SECT 277

    (1)     The Executive may make regulations for this Act.

Note     A regulation must be notified, and presented to the Legislative Assembly, under the Legislation Act .

    (2)     A regulation may deal with the CTP premium board.

Note     The CTP premium board is established in s 47.

    (3)     A regulation may create offences and fix maximum penalties of not more than 20 penalty units for the offences.

Note 1     Penalties imposed under this Act must be paid into the nominal defendant fund (see s 163B).

Note 2     A reference to an Act includes a reference to the statutory instruments made or in force under the Act, including any regulation (see Legislation Act, s 104).
