SURVEYORS ACT 2007 - SECT 49

A person commits an offence if the person––

        (a)     carries out a survey; and

        (b)     is not a surveyor, or supervised by a surveyor, when the survey is carried out.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.

Note     The register-general may issue directions for the supervision of people assisting surveyors under s 55.
