Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) If a person's licence is suspended or cancelled, the person must not fail, without reasonable excuse, to return his or her licence to the commissioner as soon as practicable (but within 7 days) after the suspension or cancellation takes effect.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) If the person's licence is suspended and the licence has not expired when the suspension ends, the commissioner must return the licence to the person if the person asks for its return.
