RATES AND LAND TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT (NO. 2) 1992 (NO 55 OF 1992)

TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           Long Title

   1.      This Act may be cited as the Rates and Land Tax (Amendment) Act (No. 2) 1992.  
   2.      In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Rates and Land Tax Act 1926.1  
   3.      Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (1) the definition of “owner” and substituting the following definition:“ ‘owner', in relation to a parcel of land, means the registered proprietor of an estate or interest in that parcel, and includes a mortgagee in possession;”.  
   4.      Section 10 of the Principal Act is amended—  
   5.      Section 11 of the Principal Act is amended—  
   6.      Section 22A of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted:  
   7.      Section 22B of the Principal Act is amended—  
   8.      Section 22BA of the Principal Act is amended—  
   9.      After section 22D of the Principal Act, the following section is inserted:  
   10.     Section 22E of the Principal Act is amended by omitting all subsections after subsection (3) and substituting the following subsections:  
   11.     Section 22GE of the Principal Act is amended—  
   12.     After section 28A of the Principal Act the following section is inserted:
