BUSINESS NAMES (AMENDMENT) ACT 1994 (NO 112 OF 1994)

TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           Long Title

   1.      This Act may be cited as the Business Names (Amendment) Act 1994.  
   2.      This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.  
   3.      In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Business Names Act 1963.1  
   4.      Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting in subsection (1) the following definition:“ ‘determined fee' means a fee determined under section 4A for the purposes of the provision in which the expression occurs;”.  
   5.      Section 4A of the Principal Act is amended—  
   6.      Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended—  
   7.      Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended—  
   8.      Section 11 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection:  
   9.      Section 12 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end the following subsection:  
   10.     The Principal Act is further amended as set out in the Schedule.  
   11.     A determination made by the Minister under section 4A of the Principal Act, in force immediately before the commencement of sections 4 to 9 (inclusive) of this Act, has effect as if the amendments effected by those sections had been in operation on the date on which the determination was made.
