2.   These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.  
3.   After regulation 22 of the Principal Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Principal Regulations

1.  In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Land (Planning and Environment) Regulations.
 Commencement

2.  These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.

3.  After regulation 22 of the Principal Regulations the following regulation is inserted:
 Remuneration to members of the Appeals Board
"23.  For the purposes of section 282D of the Act, the remuneration
payable to a member of the Land and Planning Appeals Board is--
         (a)     if the member is, or is acting as, the Chairperson of the
Board--$253.00; or
         (b)     in any other case--$205.00;
for each day on which the member performs the functions of a member of the
Board.".
