CHILDREN'S SERVICES ACT 1986 - SECT 69

(1)     This Part, in so far as it protects a child, is in addition to and not in derogation of any rights and freedoms of the child under any other law in force in the Territory and it is not intended to exclude or limit the operation of such a law in so far as it is capable of having effect concurrently with this Part.

(2)     Nothing in this Act affects the royal prerogative of mercy.
