MAGISTRATES COURT (CIVIL JURISDICTION) ACT 1982 (REPEALED) - SECT 384

    (1)     If an application under section 383 to have proceedings removed into the Supreme Court is pending, the Supreme Court may, on the application of any party to the proceedings, order that those proceedings be stayed until the firstmentioned application is determined or until the Supreme Court otherwise orders.

    (2)     An order under subsection (1) that proceedings be stayed shall take effect immediately on a copy of the order being filed.
