A Bill for an Act to amend the Interstate Road
Transport Act 1985, and for related purposes
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the Interstate Road Transport Amendment Act
2000.
This Act commences immediately after the commencement of the
Interstate Road Transport Charge Amendment Act 2000.
Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or
repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any
other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its
terms.
1 Subsection 3(1) (definition of
trailer)
Repeal the definition, substitute:
trailer means a vehicle that is built to be towed, or is
towed, by a motor vehicle, but does not include a motor vehicle that is being
towed.
