SCHEDULE 1 AMENDMENTS RELATING TO APPROVED CONSERVATION ADVICE

Government amendments relating to approved conservation advice

1.1  Item 1 of the Bill is deleted and replaced with item 1 of the Environment Legislation
Amendment Bill 2013 (Government amendments).

1.2      Item 1 in the revised bill states that if the Minister fails to have regard to conservation
advices under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act)
this will not invalidate any thing, in respect of any thing done by the Minister prior to 31
December 2013.

1.3   These amendments mean that there will be no amendments to the EPBC Act under
Schedule 1 of Environment Legislation Amendment Bill 2013.
