AMENDMENTS TO THE FAIR WORK AMENDMENT BILL 2013

OUTLINE
This amendment provides for the commencement of the anti-bullying amendments in Schedule 3
to the Fair Work Amendment Bill 2013 on 1 January 2014.

NOTES ON AMENDMENTS
In these notes on amendments, the following abbreviations are used:

Amendment No.1 - Clause 2, page 2 (table item 6)

1.       This amendment amends the commencement provision for Schedule 3 to the Bill,
which contains anti-bullying amendments, in item 6 of the table in clause 2 of the Bill. It
provides for Schedule 3 to commence on 1 January 2014, instead of on a day to be fixed by
proclamation.
2.        This amendment provides certainty about the date of commencement of the
anti-bullying amendments.
