                                  CORRECTION TO THE

                            EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM



CORRECTIONS TO SCHEDULE 1

Schedule 1, item 14, page 25, lines 21 to 25, omit paragraph 164 and substitute:

       164. The effect of this amendment is that information or a document required to be
       given by a person under section 487B may not be used in criminal proceedings
       against the person except in relation to proceedings for an offence against section
       137.1 or 137.2 of the Criminal Code (concerning the provision of false or misleading
       information or documents) that relates to Subdivision C or new Subdivision D of
       Division 12 of Part 2 of the Act.

Schedule 1, item 14, page 25, line 29, omit "or offering", substitute ", offering or providing".

Schedule 1, item 15, page 26, line 6, insert "a work-related provision in Subdivision C of
Division 12 of Part 2 of the Act or" after "contravention of".
