(a) The Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Act 1985 was amended by the Primary Industries and Energy Legislation Amendment Act (No. 2) 1995, subsection 2(1) of which provides as follows:
(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
