HEALTH INSURANCE ACT 1973 - SECT 23DZZIU

                   To avoid doubt, for the purposes of this Division:

                     (a)  a person:

                              (i)  who asks for or accepts a benefit, or

                             (ii)  to whom a benefit is offered or provided; or

                            (iii)  to whom a threat is made;

                            may or may not be connected to the relevant requester; and

                     (b)  a person:

                              (i)  from whom a benefit is requested or accepted; or

                             (ii)  who offers or provides a benefit; or

                            (iii)  who makes a threat;

                            may or may not be connected to the relevant provider.

Note:          For conduct that contravenes both a civil penalty provision and an offence, see Division 2 of Part VIA.
