Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsNotwithstanding anything contained in this Act, any ship, not being bound to a port in Australia, which has been compelled, by stress of weather or force majeure , to take refuge in such a port, shall not be subject to any requirements of this Division, or of Division 6A, or of the regulations under section 215, or of the orders made under subsection 425(1AA) if, in the ordinary course of its voyage, the ship would have been exempt from that requirement.
