NATIVE TITLE ACT 1993 - SECT 149

                   The Tribunal may dismiss an application if:

                     (a)  the applicant requests, in writing, that the application be dismissed; and

                     (b)  the Tribunal is satisfied that it is appropriate to dismiss the application.
