REFERENDUM (MACHINERY PROVISIONS) ACT 1984 - SECT 71

                   If an officer who receives:

                     (a)  an application for a postal vote; or

                     (b)  a postal vote certificate;

is satisfied that the application or certificate contains a formal error, the officer may amend the application or certificate to correct the error.
