TOBACCO ADVERTISING PROHIBITION ACT 1992 - SECT 3

Object

             (1)  This Act is intended to limit the exposure of the public to messages and images that may persuade them:

                     (a)  to start smoking, or to continue smoking; or

                     (b)  to use, or to continue using, tobacco products.

             (2)  The object is to improve public health.
