Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) For the purposes of subparagraph 135A (3) (b) (ii) of the Act, information of the kinds specified in subregulation (2) may be provided to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for the purpose of, and to the extent necessary for, ascertaining whether the Repatriation Commission is responsible for all or some of the cost of nursing home care of a patient if:
(a) the patient is a Repatriation nursing home patient; or
(b) the patient is an approved nursing home patient and either:
(i) the patient has been funded for nursing home care by the Department of Veterans' Affairs; or
(ii) it has come to the notice of the Secretary that the patient may have an entitlement to be funded for nursing home care by the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
(2) The kinds of information mentioned in subregulation (1) are as follows:
(a) the medical condition of the patient;
(b) the reason for the patient's admission to a nursing home;
(c) information specified in Schedule 6.
