1. Amendment


  1.1 The Cadet Forces Regulations are amended as set out in these 
Regulations.
[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation 
Act 1901, s. 48.]

2. Regulation 2 (Interpretation)


  2.1 Definition of "chief of staff":
Omit the definition, substitute: 
  "'service chief', in relation to a cadet force or a member of a 
cadet force, means the service chief administering that cadet force 
under section 62 of the Defence Act 1903, section 39 of the Naval 
Defence Act 1910 or section 8 of the Air Force Act 1923, as the case 
requires;".
