1. Commencement


  1.1 These regulations commence on 1 December 1996.

2. Amendment


  2.1 The Cattle Transaction Levy Regulations are amended as set out 
in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 4 (National Cattle Disease Eradication Trust Account - 
amount of levy)


  3.1 Omit "30 cents", substitute "25 cents".

  4.1 After regulation 4, insert:
Australian Animal Health Council Limited (AAHC) - amount of levy
  "5. For the purposes of paragraph 5 (2) (f) of the Act, 0 cents is 
prescribed.".
