1. Amendment


  1.1 The Endangered Species Protection Regulations are amended as set out in
these Regulations.
(NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act
1901, s. 48.)

2. Regulation 4 (Nominations of native species)


  2.1 Subparagraph 4 (1) (e) (i):
  After "literature", insert "or, if there is no such description of the
species, a statement in writing, made and signed by a person who is a
taxonomist and has relevant expertise, that in the opinion of that person the
species is a new species".
