19. (1) Where an application is made under regulation 15, the day fixed by a
court for the hearing of the application shall be a day not later than 7 days
after the date of the filing of the application.

(2) A responsible Central Authority shall, in accordance with the Rules of
Court, cause a copy of the application referred to in sub-regulation (1) to be
served on the person or persons who removed the child in respect of which the
application is made and on the person, institution or other body in whose
possession the child is.
