Commencement


  1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 October 1983.

Interpretation


  2. Regulation 2 of the Grain (Export Inspection Charge) Regulations is
amended-
  (a)  by omitting the definition of "container system unit"; and
  (b)  by omitting "25 June 1981" from the definition of "forward contract"
and substituting "14 September 1983".

  3. Regulation 4 of the Grain (Export Inspection Charge) Regulations is
repealed and the following regulation substituted:
Rates of charge
  "4. For the purposes of sub-section 6 (1) of the Act, the rate of charge
applicable to a class of grain specified in Column 2 of the Schedule in an
item in the Schedule is the rate specified in Column 3 of the Schedule in that
item.".

Schedule


  4. The Schedule to the Grain (Export Inspection Charge) Regulations is
repealed and the following Schedule substituted:
