Citation


  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Lighthouses Regulations.

Commencement


  2. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1990.

Interpretation


  3. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:
  "the Act" mean the Lighthouses Act 1911.

Prescribed officers: section 19B


  4. For the purposes of section 19B of the Act, a person who holds or
performs the duties of an office in the Department of Manager, Co-ordination
and Transport for a region is a prescribed officer.
