Principal Regulations


  1. In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the
Radiocommunications (Licensing and General) Regulations.

  2. After regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations the following regulations
are inserted: Prescribed period for the purposes of sub-section 21 (5) of the
Act
  "5A. For the purposes of sub-section 21 (5) of the Act, the period of 2
years is prescribed in relation to all frequency reservation certificates.
Prescribed period for the purposes of sub-section 24 (5) of the Act
  "5B. For the purposes of sub-section 24 (5) of the Act, the period of 2
years is prescribed in relation to all transmitter licences.".

  3. After regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations the following regulation
is inserted: Prescribed period for the purposes of sub-section 35 (3) of the
Act
  "6A. For the purposes of sub-section 35 (3) of the Act, the period of 2
years is prescribed in relation to all temporary permits.".

  4. After regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations the following regulation
is inserted: Prescribed period for the purposes of sub-section 38 (5) of the
Act
  "7A. For the purposes of sub-section 38 (5) of the Act, the period of 2
years is prescribed in relation to all receiver licences.".
