  1.1 These Regulations commence on gazettal.

  2.1 The Sales Tax Assessment Regulations are amended as set out in 
these Regulations.

3. New regulation 8A


  3.1 After regulation 8, insert:
Application of Divisions 3 and 4 of Part 7A of the Act
  "8A. Divisions 3 and 4 of Part 7A of the Act apply to dealings on or 
after 1 September 1998.".
