TELECOMMUNICATIONS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT INFORMATION) REGULATIONS 1997 No. 252 - REG 9

9. (1) The statement must set out separately details identifying the likely
impact on the environment of:

   (a)  carrying out the installation; and

   (b)  the operation of the facility; and

   (c)  the maintenance of the facility.

(2) The details for paragraphs (1) (a), (b) and (c) must include:

   (a)  a description of the likely impact on biophysical conservation values,
        including the likely impact on the items mentioned in Schedule 1; and

   (b)  a description of the likely impact on heritage values, including the
        likely impact on the items mentioned in Schedule 2; and

   (c)  a description of the likely impact on visual amenity.

(3) The statement must set out:

   (a)  details about the extent to which the installation, operation and
        maintenance of the facility is dealt with under a management plan
        relevant to the World Heritage Area; and

   (b)  a description of any consultations by the carrier with indigenous
        communities about the installation, operation and maintenance of the
        facility.
