1. Amendment


  1.1 The Veterans' Entitlements Regulations are amended as set out in these
Regulations.
(NOTE:  These Regulations commence on gazettal:  see Acts Interpretation Act
1901, s. 48.)

2. Regulation 2 (Interpretation)


  2.1 Definition of "veteran":
Omit the definition, substitute:
  " 'veteran' means:
  (a) a veteran as defined in paragraph (a) of the definition of 'veteran' in
subsection 5C (1) of the Act; or
  (b) a member of the Forces, or a member of a Peacekeeping Force, as defined
in subsection 68 (1) of the Act.".
