An Act to amend the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Act 1912 with respect
to the criteria for carrying out redistributions of electoral districts.

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:                                             1

 1    Name of Act                                                                      2

           This Act is the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Amendment           3
           (Redistributions) Act 2012.                                                 4

 2    Commencement                                                                     5

           This Act commences on the date of assent to this Act.                       6

 3    Amendment of Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Act 1912 No 41              7
           Section 17A Criteria for distributions                                      8

           Omit "3 per cent" from section 17A (1) (a). Insert instead "10 per cent".   9
