CHARITABLE FUNDRAISING ACT 1991 - SECT 40
Auditor-General to act as or provide officer
40 Auditor-General to act as or provide officer
(1) For the purposes of this Act, the Auditor-General may (and on the request
of the Minister, is required to)-- (a) exercise the functions of an
authorised officer under this Act or the regulations or assist and advise the
Minister on any matter arising in the execution of this Act or the
regulations, or
(b) provide some suitably qualified member or members of the
Auditor-General's staff to do so.
(2) The Auditor-General or such a member of
staff has the functions of an authorised officer under this Act and the
regulations.
