CHARITABLE FUNDRAISING ACT 1991 - SECT 47
Public access to information
47 Public access to information
(1) A person or organisation that is (or, within the previous 12 months, was)
the holder of an authority must, within 30 days after being requested to do so
by any person, furnish the person with-- (a) any audited financial statements
requested by the person concerning fundraising appeals conducted by the person
or organisation concerned during its last financial year and, to the extent
that the regulations so require, during previous financial years, and
(b) in
the case of an organisation--such information as the regulations may prescribe
concerning the objects and constitution (including the names and addresses of
members of the governing body of the organisation) of the organisation.

Maximum penalty--5 penalty units.
(2) Any such information and financial
statements may, at the request of any person, be supplied to the person by or
on behalf of the Minister.
(3) A person is not entitled to be supplied with
information or financial statements under this section unless the person has
paid any relevant fee prescribed by the regulations.
