HOUSING ACT 2001 - SECT 67V

67V No compensation payable by Crown

(1) Compensation is not payable by or on behalf of the Crown in connection with the operation of this Part.

(2) Without limiting subsection (1), compensation is not payable by or on behalf of the Crown arising directly or indirectly from any of the following:

(a) the publication in the register kept under section 67C of any notice of intent to cancel registration,

(b) the appointment of a special adviser under section 67FA,

(c) the exercise by any person of any function of a special adviser under section 67FA or a failure by any person to exercise any such function.

(3) In this section:
"compensation" includes damages or any other form of monetary compensation.
"the Crown" means the Crown within the meaning of the Crown Proceedings Act 1988 , and includes an officer, employee or agent of the Crown.
