HOME BUILDING ACT 1989 - SECT 16DAA

16DAA Consumer information
(1) A kit home supplier must, before entering into a contract, give the other
party to the contract information, in a form approved by the Secretary, that
explains the operation of this Act and the procedure for the resolution of
disputes under the contract and for the resolution of disputes relating to
insurance. : Maximum penalty--40 penalty units in the case of a corporation
and 20 penalty units in any other case.
(2) This section does not apply to
contracts of a class prescribed by the regulations.
