LIQUOR ACT 2007 - SECT 8
Keeping or using unlicensed premises
8 Keeping or using unlicensed premises
(1) A person must not-- (a) open, keep or use any premises for the purpose of
selling liquor, or
(b) permit any premises to be opened, kept or used by
another person for the purpose of selling liquor, or
(c) have the care or
management of any premises opened, kept or used for the purpose of selling
liquor, or
(d) assist in conducting the business of any premises opened, kept
or used for the purpose of selling liquor,
unless the premises are
licensed premises or are otherwise authorised under this Act to be used for
the sale or supply of liquor. : Maximum penalty--100 penalty units or
imprisonment for 12 months, or both.
(2) A person who is found on, or who is
found entering or leaving, any premises opened, kept or used in contravention
of subsection (1) is guilty of an offence. : Maximum penalty--5 penalty units.
