Secretary may make late hour entry declaration
87 Secretary may make late hour entry declaration
(1) The Secretary may, in accordance with this Division, make a late hour
entry declaration.
(2) The purpose of such a declaration is to prevent
patrons entering licensed premises during late trading hours even though the
premises are authorised to trade during that time.
(3) A late hour entry
declaration must be in writing and specify-- (a) the area or locality to which
it applies, and
(b) the licensed premises (or class of licensed premises) to
which it applies, and
(c) the times when it applies.
(4) A late hour entry
declaration has effect despite any other provision of this Act or the
conditions of a licence relating to any licensed premises to which the
declaration applies.
