Duties of Registrar or district agent
102 Duties of Registrar or district agent
(1) The Registrar or district agent shall, upon being satisfied as to-- (a)
the identity of the applicant, and
(b) the right of the applicant to
administer the estate of the deceased, and
(c) the value of the estate,
furnish the applicant with all necessary information for the purpose of
enabling the applicant to fill up the advertisements, affidavits, and
documents necessary for obtaining probate or administration, as the case may
be.
(2) The Registrar or district agent may-- (a) swear the applicant and
every deponent, and
(b) attest the execution of the administration bond.
(3)
The Registrar or district agent shall receive payment of all proper fees in
connection with the application.
