STATE OWNED CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 - SECT 33
Operation of Act
33 Operation of Act
(1) Nothing in this Act limits any powers or rights that the Crown or a
Minister has apart from this Act.
(2) A requirement of this Act that
provisions be included in the constitution of a company does not have effect
to the extent that the requirement or the provisions are inconsistent with a
law of the Commonwealth.
(3) A requirement of this Act that provisions be
inserted in the constitution of a company does not have effect to the extent
that the requirement or the provisions are inconsistent with a law of a place
(other than New South Wales), where the company is a subsidiary of a
State owned corporation and the company is or is to be incorporated under the
law of that place.
